I have been in the mortgage industry since 2001. I originally started out at Wells Fargo when I was in my last year of studies at Saint Francais Xavier University. I then went on to work for HSBC Finance in August of 2002. My last assignment with HSBC was as a branch manager from 2004 -2007. A few years had passed and then I realized that working 60 hrs a week as a branch manager wasn’t fun for me anymore, and it was time for a change.

In spring of 2007 I left HSBC to open up a Mortgage Intelligence office in Bedford, Nova Scotia. In 2011 I made a strategic move join the Mortgage Centre, and open up the Mortgage Centre Bedford Office. The switch to the Mortgage Centre has given me access to more lender’s preferred rates, which helps me service my clients even better. Being self employed has been a great career and lifestyle change! I no longer work for a specific lender or organization, I work for my clients.
